Magic PA Tech

So we awoke to the sound of rain. Yet again it was piss... er..persistant. So a quick run into the gig and all the old memories come back from what we affectionately call 'Humping School' or Local Crew. So it was a long push to the raked stage. Great!

Only a couple of things of note to mention. It all started with Dave G putting large gaffa tape 'M's all over his cases... Does this mean he is marking his territory like a lion, or is it perhaps his filly Mary, who is coming down, and it's a gusture of lurve. You decide.

This was also the first gig where the PA was to be flown. So here we go lets makew sure it doesn't come down shall we, shackles done up with a spanner.... I think so. My name was mud for the rest of the evening and yes the lampies did take the piss!

But best of all was trhe sight of our TM asleep in his office as the support act were coming off stage. But isn't he supposed to be getting Embrace ready?? I hear you ask!!!

Well in the strictest sense yes. But in reality, after a heavy doy on the Vodka it all becomes a bit more relaxed.

So, yes the band did go on late.. Oh well.

So anyway, off to Folkstone tomorrow.

And the guy's told me they would show me how to do up a shackle without the aid of a saftey net OR an A.J.
